Her father is an established watercolor painter and taught her how to paint with watercolor in grade school, but only later did she focus on the medium. While attending Columbus College of Art and Design for a BFA in Interior Design, she was able to fully dive into all forms of art. She embarked on a career in Interior Design, a profession which exposes her to visual inspiration on a daily basis and continually motivates her as an artist. Charlotte’s current artistic journey in watercolor painting is focused on nature. She enjoys living in an area with four seasons and all of the changing colors, lights, moods and sensibilities they bring. Her style embraces both the illustrative and decorative, pattern and texture.
